I need something that will make me smile.
It doesn't matter about the plot or genre, hell at this point I barely care about the pairing but something needs to cheer me up because one more story about an abused!Harry will make me want to kill myself.
Actually he can still have been abused if the story is good enough as long as it's past and he's mostly over it.
The romance needs to be realistic yet still appeals to the part of me that wishes she had a prince to sweep her off her feet.
Funny is good, sarcasm is better.
I have a soft spot for Slytherin!Harry but if he's a Gryff can he at least act like a snake? Like in Lockdown.
Bonus points for post war but not post Hogwarts.
I don't really like the idea of teen parents, mpreg or not.
Bashings are good but not manditory.
Feircely protective friends, the kind that make you feel warm inside because they love Harry so much.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
I don't expect a story that has all of this in but just some, it doesn't matter how long 5k words or 250k, doesn't make a difference.

Draco is living with his mother,. They are broke and living in an apartment. All I remember is Draco is followed by a man who was mentally ill and he made him paper flowers. Harry ends up helping Draco and his mother. Any idea?

I’m looking for two stories which I read some time ago and now for the life of me, I can’t remember where.

In the first one, Draco goes to this teashop called Stash and flirts with another guy there. Harry turns up and they have unresolved issues from the past and they keep leaving their things with each other to meet up…

And another one in which Harry has a child with Ginny and Draco has a child too and Harry knows that part of the reason of his break up with Ginny is his job. He tells Draco that he has to work on their anniversary and when Draco gets angry, he quits his job. But then he discovers some kind of corruption in the ministry and then Draco tells him to make things right.

Help would be much appreciated :)

I am trying to remember an epilogue-compliant story in which Draco and Harry get their families together (for Christmas I think).  The part I'm sure about is that Lily Potter develops a crush on Lucius and starts wondering how long Narcissa is going to be around.   Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays to all!

I've just started the third story of Lightning on the Wave's Sacrifices Arc and I'd appreciate hearing some opinions on the series. I'm reluctant to invest time in a series so long if it's gonna turn out to be something I wouldn't really enjoy.

Is the story good enough for the length or does it drag a lot? Long stories aren't a bad thing but if it just becomes the same words being repeated over and over it gets dull.

Is the plot any good or is it over-thought and complicated with 1001 original characters? While again complicated plots and new characters aren't a bad thing, you can go over the tip trying to write an original story. For example The Black Heir, it was a good story and I'm waiting for the sequel but to me the plot felt over-complicated.

Is Harry going to wake up and realise what Lily and Dumbledore have done him and actually get upset about it? Some one needs to explain to them that the consent of a four year old does not count for something this life changing!

And when do Harry and Draco start making eyes at each other? I'm a sucker for a love story and really don't want to have to wait till something like the sixth story for them to get a clue, especially when the stories are this long.

I really only remember one scene from this fic, but I'm fairly sure it's well-known (I just can't think of it for the life of me!). Draco and Snape are working together as double agents, the DEs capture Seamus and he has to betray Dean's location in order to keep Harry safe, and Draco rescues them but has to give himself away to do so.

Also, this may or may not be in the same fic, but another scene's popping into my head in which a group of "soldiers," for lack of a better word, Polyjuice into Harry before they all go into the final battle and in the aftermath, Hermione (I think) discovers that one of them is Draco.

I know these are really random, but anyone find them familiar? I'm pretty sure I'm looking for a novel-length. Thanks!

Looking for a fic that I read a long time ago... I don't remember much about it other than that it has something to with Scorpius being bullied at Hogwarts by James I think... and that's because James secretly likes him? Anyway, Draco contacts Harry to have a talk, and that's all I remember. Anyone have a clue? Or even have a fic rec that has bullied!Scorpius? Thanks!

I am looking for a fic and all I remember about it is that Draco is throwing a party, he's friends with all the Gryffindors and it's post war and Harry is dating (I think) Zach Smith who is a total arse. Pansy is getting drunk and smoking on the balcony, talking about going to a really expensive resort, and Draco gets really upset when Harry calls him 'Malfoy'.

Any bells rung? (besides the festive ones!)

i've been looking for a h/d infidelity fic where Harry cheats on Draco with Hermione and Hermione either while on vacation or on her honeymoon with Ron writes him Harry a letter and Draco finds out. They debate on who is going to tell Ron. In the end Draco forgives Harry but I don't think Ron forgives Hermione...if anyone knows what story this please help me out!

It's almost Christmas and I really want to re-read some of the old Christmas fics. Unfortunately, I couldn't find them.

I read both of them a few years ago. In the first one, Draco gives Harry an extremely long Chrismas list. He tells Harry that he wants all the things there. Draco also makes lists for his mother, his friends, etc. Harry was angry. He argues that presents should be up to the giver. Harry complains about this to Hermione, calling Draco spoilt, etc, etc. Hermione reads the list and blushes. She tells Harry to read it. Turned out, Draco asks for things like kisses and so on.

On the second one, Harry and Draco live together. The Malfoys become poor after the war. Draco wants to invite his parents for Christmas. I am not so sure, but I think Harry is more dominant in here and Draco kind of doesn't want to make him angry or something. Anyway, Harry permits it and feels that he was being kind because he lets Draco to invite Narcissa and Lucius. Narcissa knits a sweater for Draco as Christmas gift.

If you can help me find any of them, I will be very grateful.

I'm searching for specific types of stories, and I'm hoping this group can help me...

It seems in many Harry/Draco stories that Ron and/or Hermione, especially Hermione, are accepting of Draco and become very good friends with him. Well, I would like something a bit more realistic. Could you some stories where the two tolerate Draco, but do not like him? Also, stories where Draco tolerates Ron and Hermione, but does not care for them? I prefer an established Harry/Draco relationship, but first time is fine.

My next pet peeve- perfect Hermione. In many stories, Hermione is presented as brilliant, perfect, tolerant...Are there any Harry/Draco stories that show Draco as smarter than Hermione or just as smart? That he is the one to solve the problem or issue?

read this one ages ago. I thing the page I found it on was one called Draco The Bottom, but I can´t find it anymore. Its Harry and Draco. Draco likes pain Harry needs to punish darco. So, lately I've been indulging in action movies with hard-hitting assassins. And it got me thinking, are there any fics with Harry being like this hardcore undercover killer? Where he has stealth, power, and intellegence in what he does, and he gets the girl guy(Draco of course..)? I've read a bit of the fic called, 'Big Chicago' and it was okay, I really enjoyed most of it, but Draco was almost too transsexual/transvestite for me. I'm looking for fics where Draco has unrequited love for Harry (at least at first) such as When the Darkness Broke In by alfirin kirinki, or else stories where they may be sleeping together but Draco wants more of an emotional involvement than Harry does.  (For example, stories like A Season in Hell by Cassandra Claire or The Wildfire Chronicles by abbycadabra.)  Bonus for bottom!Draco, but either is fine.  Thanks for any help!

that has been bugging me since forever. I think this fic had two parts, one from Daco's POV, the other from Harry's POV. Draco had the reputation to have very short relationships like he would be with someone for a week and then get tired of them and dump them. He gets together with Harry and Harry is waiting for this to happen to him, too but Draco's actually in love with him. And there's a kitchen scene with Pansy(?) where Harry confesses this (or something like that) and Draco tells him that he's in love with him and won't get bored of him and they live happily ever after. Or so I remember...
I know I'm not making much sense but I still hope that someone can help me find it because I really want to read this again.
